Group Fitness Class Descriptions

Aquatic Survival – Uses a unique set of prompts and procedures designed to teach both the verbal child and the non-verbal aquatic survival skills.

Ageless Grace – When body, mind and spirit are in balance. Helps improve health and well-being. Reduce stress keep mind and body responsive.

Aqua Dynamics – An intense cardio challenge in the water with sculpting intervals; excellent for cross-training.

Aqua Therapy – Great workout in the pool designed for all fitness levels and ages. Appropriate for those with mobility and joint limitations. This class offers lots of moving, strengthening and stretching in the water.

Abs/Core – This class is designed to challenge your core muscle for stronger flexible, stability, balanced you.

Body Sculpting – This class is designed to challenge your muscles from top to bottom for a stronger and leaner you.

Cardio Pump – A moderate intensity cardio class combined with light weight, high repetition exercises hitting all major muscle groups.

Gentle Yoga – You can easily adapt your body to this easy and flowing yoga practice. Great for the beginner and prefect for seniors and new moms. Come and relax!

HIIT (high intensity interval training) – Short intense workouts followed by short periods of rest.

Low Impact Cardio – This is a high impact class formatted in a fun creative way to add continual resistance while incorporating all the components of fitness.

Kettle Bells – Involves fluid yet powerful momentum based movements. Works on flexibility, balance, strength.

Silver Sneakers – MSROM (muscular strength and range of movement): Move to music through exercises designed to increase strength and flexibility. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and ball for resistance and a chair for seated and/or standing support.

Spinning – The ultimate 40 min cardio ride where participants of all fitness levels use specially designed Johnny G Spinner indoor stationary bikes to achieve a dynamic workout for the body and mind. You control your own resistance for the level of intensity you want.

Trim & Tone – Step aerobics for all fitness levels; no experience required. Step to motivating music and burn fat while sculpting lean buns and thighs.

Yoga – This class is designed to increase strength, balance and flexibility while teaching relaxation techniques through Hatha yoga poses and postures.

Zumba – Program fuses latin rhythms and easy-to-follow dance fitness moves to create a one of a kind fitness program that will blow you away. The routine feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms are combined to tone and sculpt the body in an aerobic/fitness fashion to achieve unique balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits.

Zumba Basic – A slower program fuses latin rhythms and easy-to-follow dance fitness moves to create a one of a kind fitness program that will blow you away. The routine feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms are combined to tone and sculpt the body in an aerobic/fitness fashion to achieve unique balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits.
